Pregame show at 6:40 on The Zone @ 91.3 FM or online at www.thezone.fm

It will be the debut of the newest Royal, 18 year old forward #16 Trent Lofthouse who was acquired from the Silvertips Thursday in exchange for a 6th round pick in 2014. Victoria also sent G Jared Rathjen to Vancouver for an 8th round pick this year.

It’s their 2nd of 4 meetings of the season with Victoria winning 4-3 in a shoot out at Tri City on October 6th.

The 6th place Royals are just 5 points back of the 5th place Americans in the West and could be to within one with a pair of weekend wins.

Victoria had their 2 game winning streak snapped with a 4-2 loss in Kelowna on Wednesday as they officially reach the mid way point of the season game wise.

Tri City snapped their 2 game skid with a 6-3 win against Spokane on Monday.  The Americans have just 5 wins in their last 10, the Royals have 6.

Tri City has 11 wins in 19 road games (11-7-1-0), Victoria is 7 over .500 at home (12-5-0-1).
