Victoria sends Clowes to Tri-City for 2014 fifth round pick.

Victoria, BC – The
Victoria Royals today announced that the team has traded defenceman Brodie
Clowes (1995) to the Tri-City Americans in exchange for their fifth round
selection in the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft.
Victoria sends Clowes to Tri-City after the Calgary,
AB native appeared in one game for the Royals during the 2011-12 WHL regular
season. Clowes was drafted in the 2010 WHL Bantam Draft by the Chilliwack
Bruins with their fifth round pick, 90th overall.
Victoria’s next pre-season contest is on Friday,
September 14th when they head to Ladner, BC to take on the Vancouver
Giants. The Royals will then make their 2012 WHL pre-season debut at the
Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre on Saturday, September 15th against
the Giants in the team’s final test before the regular season.
The Royals will kick off their 2012-13 home schedule
on September 22nd when they will host the Vancouver Giants at the Save-On-Foods
