Recap: VIC 4 - BRN 3 SOW

Kevin Sundher had 2 assists and shootout goal, but his Wheat Kings fell 4-3.
Ben Walker scored the shoot out winner as the Victoria Royals (14-25-2-3) came from behind to beat Kevin Sundher and the Brandon Wheat Kings (22-19-1-2) 4-3 Saturday night.

The win snaps a 10 game losing streak and with 33 points, moves Victoria into a tie for 7th with Seattle, just 1 point up on Prince George. 

Brandon Magee (1g) tied the game mid way in the third and Ben Walker (2a) scored the shoot out winner to go along with his 2 assists, being named the number one star.

Victoria trailed 2-0 after 20, and 3-2 after 40, but came out strong in the third peppering rookie netminder Curtis Honey with 20 shots for a total of 49. 

Keith Hamilton stopped breakaways by Michael Ferland (1g) and Kevin Sundher (2a) while making 39 saves enroute to his 13th win and was named the games third star.

Also scoring for Victoria was Dakota Conroy (1g) versus his former team and Jamie Crooks (1g) to extend his point streak to 6 games (6g 6a).  With an assist, newcomer Jordan Fransoo has points in his first two games as a Royal.

Sundher, who took 3 penalties in the first, had his first two assists as a Wheat King and also scored in the shoot out.  Robin Soudek scored, while Logan Nelson missed.  Mark Stone (1g) and Alessio Bertaggia also missed for Brandon.

The Royals held the Wheat Kings 3rd best power play to 2 chances, but they scored on them both while Victoria went 1 for 4.
